MDHIL SERIES BLOWER HEATERS

MDHIL blower heaters are suitable for indoor inline or wall mounting applications with either a 4” (100mm) or 6” (150mm) air inlet collar; either on the side or the top and either a 4” (100mm) or 6” (150mm) diameter bottom discharge outlet. Wall mounting brackets and bottom discharge pipe adapter plate are provided. Please note Dexon does not provide a rigid mounting flange.

All MDHIL series blower heaters are available in a –HC (High Capacity) model for situations where a higher air pressure is required than what the standard MDHIL unit can provide.

Blower Heater Specifications:

    1. Controls Circuit – 120VAC, 60Hz
    2. Heating Element Circuit – can be 120, 208, 240, 480, or 600VAC, 1 or 3 phase
    3. Wiring Between Remote Dexon Status Board to Dexon Blower Heater (Typically cable supplied by Dexon)
    4. Connections Between Optional Alarm Module and External Alarms (when used)
  • Heating Capacity – Available in 3000 to 4050WATT, Single Staged Elements Only
    1. CFM  Capacity – Approximately 80 – 300CFM @ 0″ Static Pressure
    2. Variable Speed Brushless DC Fan
  • Dimensions 775mmH x 300mmSQ for MDHIL Model
  • Dimensions 865mmH x 300mmSQ for MDHIL-HC Model
  • Inline or Wall Mounted with Top or Side Air Inlet Collar and Can Be either Four Inch (100mm) or Six Inch (150mm)Diameter

  • Four Inch (100mm) or Six Inch (150mm) Diameter Flat Bottom Discharge Outlet with Discharge Pipe Adapter Plate, c/w Gasket

Installation Requirements:

  • Status Indicator must be installed remote from hazardous location in appropriate enclosure
  • Class 1, Div.2 units must be fused remote from hazardous location.
  • A pressure relief vent/gooseneck equivalent to discharge outlet is required

Blower Heater Options:

  • Class 1, Division 2, Gas Groups C & D Locations or Ordinary Locations Certification
  • Optional “95ALM” Alarm Module for interfacing with external alarms
  • Manual Mode Interface to Initiate Full Fan Speed from External Dry Contact
  • Pre-mounted Status Enclosure
