MDVILS vent fans are suitable for indoor inline or wall mounted applications with either a 4\u201d (100mm) or 6\u201d (150mm) air inlet collar; either on the side or the top and either a 4\u201d (100mm) or 6\u201d (150mm) diameter bottom discharge outlet. Please note Dexon does not provide a rigid mounting flange.<\/p>\n\n

NOTE:
Dexon vent fans are intended to provide continuous positive pressure
ventilation in climates NOT REQUIRING
TEMPERING<\/strong> of the supply air.<\/p>\n\n

This equipment is suitable for use in Class 1, Division 2, Groups C and D, Temp Code
T4 or Non-Hazardous Locations, General Enclosure.<\/p>\n\n

  • Power Supply – 120VAC, 60Hz, 240WATT Max input to Vent Fan.<\/li>\n
  • Blower: 24VDC brushless backward curved motorized impeller.<\/li>\n

  • Low Voltage Interfacing between Vent Fan & Status Indicator\/Controller.<\/li>\n
  • Dimensions 825mmH x 300mmSQ.<\/li>\n
  • Inline or Wall mounted with top or side air inlet collar and can be either four or six inch diameter.<\/li>\n
  • Wall mounting brackets provided.<\/li>\n
  • Four inch (100mm) or six inch (150mm) diameter flat bottom discharge outlet with discharge pipe adapter plate, c\/w gasket.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

    • Status Indication provided.<\/li>\n
    • Indication of blower rotation when in High\/Full speed only.<\/li>\n
    • Toggle switch on Status Indicator\/Speed Controller for switching from Low\/Idle speed to High\/Full speed.<\/li>\n
    • Onboard adjustable ranges for both Low\/Idle and High\/Full speeds.<\/li>\n
    • Provisions for Optional Low Temperature Shut Down (thermostat by others).<\/li>\n
    • Blower Boost Start.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

      Vent Fan Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n

      • Status Indicator\/Controller must be installed in appropriate enclosure remote from hazardous locations<\/li>\n
      • Class 1, Division 2 rated units must be fused remote in a Non-Hazardous Location<\/li>\n
      • Ordinary Location Units Fused Internally.<\/li>\n
      • Vent Fans must run continuously<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n
